Christopher David LaRoche is an assistant professor in the Department of International Relations at Central European University in Vienna, Austria and a visiting faculty member in Bard College's Globalization and International Affairs program in New York City. He is also a non-resident fellow at the European Centre for North Korean Studies at the University of Vienna. Chris studies nuclear security, international institutions, and political psychology, and is currently undertaking a Stanton Foundation-funded research project on the future of nuclear security architecture. He has published in International Theory, the European Journal of International Relations, the Review of International Studies, and Foreign Policy, among other outlets. Before joining CEU, Chris was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Alberta’s China Institute and a fellow at the Trudeau Centre for Peace, Conflict, and Justice at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs.
