The CFR public-relations office certainly thinks they’ve got a winner in the “attack Iran debate.” Here’s a video of the recent “live” debate between Colin and Matt on the subject.
Daniel H. Nexon is a Professor at Georgetown University, with a joint appointment in the Department of Government and the School of Foreign Service. His academic work focuses on international-relations theory, power politics, empires and hegemony, and international order. He has also written on the relationship between popular culture and world politics.

Some serious Georgetown love here.
I dunno. Became pretty heated when Colin got annoyed over Matt’s timeline claims.
I noticed that moment too.
What did you think of Kroenig’s appeals to the history of Cold War crises? Struck me as unpersuasive, esp. since the Cuban missile crisis was the only one he mentioned by name, leaving him open to the rebuttal that it was an outlier in terms of closeness-to-nuclear-escalation (bad phrase but you know what I mean).
